Private Dwelling- Completed April 2011

Prestigious Fires were approached by Rebecca Leivars designs and asked to design and make a  custom insert based around 2 small drop in burners.  Following submission of drawings a single sided chamber was constructed. The inner dimensions of the chamber are 900mm w x 400mm h x 300mm deep. We are awaiting the final installed photos and will post them when they arrive.

Cassis Restaurant- Completed December 2010

Cassis

-

Prestigious Fires were approached by interior architects Target Living on behalf of their client Cassis; a Michelin Star restaurant based in London. Cassis were  using a bio ethanol fire sourced from another company and were unhappy with its performance. The product was found to be inadequate for their needs, the burn time was too short, the flame effect was inadequate and the company providing the fire were unable to subsequently deliver the bio ethanol required by the restaurant on a consistent basis.

Working closely with Louise, a  custom fire basket  was designed to met their requirements; based around our large burner. The project was turned around very quickly and was delivered to site just in time for the grand re-opening. The large burner used in the basket offered greta safety features, a longer burn time and a more impressive flame.

We were pleased to have the opportunity to work with Cassis, and as a result of the project have introduced two large baskets into our standard range - the Kensington and the Hampton.

If you are looking for a living flame fire within your establishment and believed you couldn't have one please think again and give us a call on 01709 524162.

Private Dwelling- Completed November 2010

Prestigious Fires were approached by architect Mike Reed to fabricate two bioethanol hole in the wall inserts, capable of excepting a large Prestigious Fires drop in burner. Both inserts were "frameless", allowing a very minimal clean finish to be achieved. From the client's sketches, working drawings were produced and two inserts of different dimensions were fabriacted.

The inserts were constructed from 2mm zintec steel, sprayed on the inside with high temperature black and then insulated on the outside faces of the chamber.

The images below show the custom bioethanol fire box installed and finished. Note how the plaster is finished up to the very edge of the fire box.

Private Dwelling- Completed October 2010

Prestigious fires were approached by Reem Captan (Cubik) to design and make a made to measure ethanol chamber, open from both sides and capable of accepting two large bio ethanol burners. Following submission of drawings a double sided chamber was fabricated and delivered to site. The picture below shows the chamber ready for insulating and image of the unit installed. The burners have just been lit and virtually empty of fuel. Note the very clean edge achieved around the insert in the final photo.
